It looks like you are trying to use a git dependency to install a module from a private git repository, but when npm spawns git, git is unable to authenticate. I noticed the npm-debug.log you posted contains the lines
Can you try running the git command manually to see if it succeeds at the command prompt? And is there something that you normally need to do to let git authenticate (eg, ssh-add path/to/key-name)?
We haven’t heard back and we’re trying to clean up some old issues. If this is still a problem, can you please reply and let us know? We’ll be happy to reopen if necessary.
