Markdown view of readme.md does not respect Bold and italic

Whoa thanks we'll take a look over in marky-markdown; as a temporary fix I believe one of the following will do the trick:

1. a blank line between the HTML <img> and the list, OR
2. using markdown for the image (![](https://developer.ibm.com/iotplatform/wp-content/uploads/sites/24/2016/10/Virtual-IoT-Device.png))
