The Snowflake SQL API is a REST API that you can use to access and update data in a Snowflake database.

Python 2.7 and 3.4+
pip install virtualenv
Go to project folder
python -m venv env
env/Scripts/activate.bat //In CMD
env/Scripts/Activate.ps1 //In Powershel
pip install -r requirements.txt
If the python package is hosted on Github, you can install directly from Github
pip install git+https://github.com/GIT_USER_ID/GIT_REPO_ID.git
(you may need to run pip
with root permission: sudo pip install git+https://github.com/GIT_USER_ID/GIT_REPO_ID.git
)
Then import the package:
import snowflake_sql_api_client
Install via Setuptools.
python setup.py install --user
(or sudo python setup.py install
to install the package for all users)
Then import the package:
import snowflake_sql_api_client

Upgrade setuptools wheel
python -m pip install –-user –-upgrade setuptools wheel
Generate the distribution files.
python setup.py sdist bdist_wheel
pip install -e .
pip install twine
python -m twine upload dist/*

If the parameter is not specified or is set to false, a statement is executed and the first result is returned if the execution is completed in 45 seconds. If the statement execution takes longer to complete, the statement handle is returned. (optional)
nullable = 'nullable_example' # str | Set to true to execute the statement to generate the result set including null. If the parameter is set to false, the result set value null will be replaced with a string 'null'. (optional)
