I also met this problem in my environment: vmware-archive/rbvmomi/issues/31
nokogiri 1.5.5 can work.

I'm having the same problem and am not sure how I can use the workaround committed to nsidc/vagrant-vsphere. How do I install the plugin from the branch?

thanks

Note that nokogiri 1.5.5 is not compatible with Ruby 2.0 used by Vagrant.
I don't think that's a good solution either.

Agree, doesn't look like a great solution but if it will work for the moment I'll be able to get something working. Unfortunately I have no ruby knowledge at all, either language or environment so it is very difficult to work out what is going wrong.
