Hello! I had the same problem and I think I managed to solve it, but not sure if it'll work for you. I went to the link shown in the Ubuntu terminal (aka.ms/wsl2kernel) and downloaded the Linux kernel update package in Step 4 and followed through, then did Step 3 as well (Enabling the Virtual Machine feature). You can try to download it to see if it solves the problem! Hope this helps!
