Getting an odd build error when upgrading from nuxt 3.8 #27095
-
Hi all, I have been working on a somewhat large nuxt project for a while that was shelved temporarily back in January for other priorities. It is a pnpm monorepo with 5 user portals and a shared layer. Nothing too crazy, and before it was put aside for a few months, I had zero issues with anything. Fast forward to last week and we were able to start back in on it. Unfortunately, when I attempt to update to the latest version of nuxt (or even to just 3.9) I get the following error when trying to run the nuxt dev command: [2:30:30 PM] ERROR [worker reload] [worker init] Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'handler') at normalizeLayer (/opt/internet/sites/the-apiary/node_modules/.pnpm/h3@1.11.1/node_modules/h3/dist/index.mjs:2025:15) Any ideas on what might be the cause here? |

Seems like your h3 is vastly outdated. Make sure to update your peer deps too |

Ok, turns out it was caused by a variable in my .env file: NUXT_APP. If I delete it or change it to NUXT_APP_NAME I can update and build with no issues. Does it make sense that NUXT_APP would break builds like this? |
