POI Manager

On the POI Manager screen you'll see your Points Of Interes colored by types. Drag them to change locations. Long press the map to enter a new POI.

The My Location button (below the menu button) scrolls the map to your current location (if already acquired).

The bottom menu bar buttons:

  • Filter button: launches the view filtering dialog.
  • (-) button: zooms the map out.
  • [ ] Zoom to fit button: zooms the map to fit all the POI visible at current filtering settings.
  • (+) button: zooms the map in.

The text line above the buttons indicates how many POI of the total POI number is visible at current view filtering.

Touch the Filter button to open the POI view filter dialog:

  • Filter by Types: filters view to show POI which have certain types assigned.
  • Filter by Distance: filters view to show POI in specified range from your current location.
  • Filter by Age: filters view to show POI which were created / modified in a certain period of time.

Touch a POI marker on the map to enter the POI properties dialog:

You should define the POI Name and select its Type (or enter a new one). The rest of fields is optional. Press OK to confirm. Press the Delete button to delete POI.

Touch the Menu button to access further POI Manager features:

  • New by Lat/Lon: creates a POI by entering its Latitude and Longitude (GPS format).
  • Clear all: clears all POI data in current data set.
  • Import: imports POI from an external GPX file. You can either select POI to import or import all. Note: the GPX file may contain any data, also Routes and Tracks. Nothing but POI will be visible here.
  • Export: exports your POI (all or current filtered view) to a new or existing GPX file. Exporting POI works in additive way: your POI will be added to the current file content.
