As noted on the mailing list having a OSX build would be awesome!

Sure. We start work on this to support developers to write apps on OSX.

We are merging CFRunLoop with libev. Once it's done we'll have a working version. I believe we can finish it soon.

btw, we just switched to CEF (chromium embedded framework) for a more portable architecture across Linux/Windows/OSX. It helps to maintenance and provides great HTML5 features.

we've got it working on OSX. But only source code is available now. It will be very appreciated if someone can build a binary package.

Binary on Mac is provided now, though it currently has some flaws, see 'Downloads' section on the home page.
