Operating System: Win10
System: Intel i5 NUC, 8GB RAM
E-Mail Service: GMail

Similar to what seems to have been described in Issue #1069 (though in the context of OSX), I notice that while I have no problems when freshly composing a new e-mail to someone, I suffer from significant typing lag whenever I reply to an e-mail, whether directly in the display column of the e-mails or when "popping out" the response into its own composing window. This lag has made N1 on Windows unusable for me. Interestingly, I use N1 on Ubuntu without this issue.

Also, unlike noted in Issue #1360, I don't see a sudden jump in CPU or memory usage (though I do see an increase as I type), but I also do not see a correlation of this problem to the use of a signature in any way. I have removed any trace of a signature and it still is occurring. Thinking that it may be the parsing of HTML in the response window to blame (as someone noted), I attempted to reply to an e-mail completely devoid of HTML. Still suffered the same lag.

Is there anything I can do to help troubleshoot this? I really want to be able to use N1 on Windows as I absolutely love the program, and this lag is really frustrating me.

Hey! Thanks for reporting this and your detailed writeup. Does N1 underline any spelling mistakes in these emails? It's also possible that our spellcheck is running really slowly on your computer for some reason, causing these sort of delays.

No underlining at all. If there is a way to run some sort of log, I'm
happy to do it. Alternatively I can't take a video of my screen so you can
see the extent of the lag.

We were able to reproduce this on windows. It appears to be related to this issue: #1069 I'm closing this to merge it into #1069
