This is an initial template of the 2310 feature list. This is to be expanded on for the release on Oct 9th.

  • One minor but immediate thing was that I needed to add the file extension .md to have my editors pick it up as markdown.
  • Title uses 23.10.0 but then the first sentence drops the .0 from the end but the Highlights paragraph uses it.
  • '...ROS2 Gem, a Gem...' and later we say '...(gems,...' do we always utilize a capital G when referring to a singular Gem but not multiple gems?
  • If we say 'developer tools' is their purpose necessarily followed by 'for developing' or is that obvious?
  • 'Linux Snap packages for both Ubunti 20.04...' s/Ubunti/Ubuntu and should we say Individual Linux Snap packages?
  • Is the sig list complete or intentionally only including those we are assuming entries for?

**Status:** In Progress

**Open 3D Engine (O3DE)** 23.10 release levels up the authoring experience for game creators and robotics simulation developers. In addition to improvements to the core engine, robotics users in O3DE now have the ROS2 Gem, a Gem that provides integration with the [Robot Operating System (ROS2)](https://www.ros.org/), which provides drivers, state-of-the-art algorithms, and developer tools for developing robotics simulations. Game developers in O3DE now have the [Multiplayer Sample game](https://github.com/o3de/o3de-multiplayersample) available to them - a ready-to-use game that's not only fun to play, but provides developers with example implementations of common game elements to help start their own projects.

I am only including sigs that will have content. Sig-test, sig-operations, sig-release, and a few others do not contribute code or features to a release, and are not mentioned as they will always have blank entries.

Working on this as an issue for now so we can iterate quickly. Once complete I will update and commit the new changes. #252

For Project export, here are the documentation links to include for the feature list:

Closing this PR as we are using an issue instead until we finalize the features list and release notes.
