In electrophysiology a common assay is to measure the flux of a non-standard ion such as Thallium or Rubidium. How should these assays be encoded using OBI?

See for example:

High throughput screening technologies for ion channels

Acta Pharmacologica Sinica volume 37, pages 34–43 (2016)

This is a type of cell based electrophysiology assay
