Good.  Fascia is I think mis-spelled.

how should we capture the relationship to the parotid gland? Is it valid to consider this as a kind of transitive attachment: risorius to fascia of PG to PG?

We could add a class 'parotid fascia'

I think that the attachment to the fascia of the parotid is taxon specific. We could add the 'parotid facia' class and an attachment to it for specific taxa.
Thinking about it, once the axioms are in Uberon, since Uberon breaks muscle organs into proper components, we could be more specific re: the attachment to the masseter and say that it attaches to the epimysium surrounding the masseter.

Before pre-composing terms like 'fascia of masseter' it would be useful to review the classification of fascia in uberon and other sources, it's not completely straightforward.

Of course, you don't need pre-composed terms. You could say

attaches to some (fascia and bounding_layer_of some masseter)

But before going down this route, we have to think about how properties chain. Presumably you would want risorious to be returned in a query for all muscles that attach to the masseter? If so we need a rule that chains attaches_to appropriately.
