Can I specify an already opened terminal as REPL?

Hi all,

Can I specify a terminal in VSCode that is already open as REPL so that "Evaluate Selection" runs the command on the terminal?

I am working on a project that requires loading many definitions on a REPL session, and would like to avoid closing the REPL session by running it inside tmux session.

After reopening VSCode, I would like to open the previously used tmux session inside VSCode and continue using it as my REPL.
