Dropdown styling issue

Hey guys!

Thanks for making this awesome CMS :), I am very much looking forward to using it.
Upon installing, I found a little bug:

I am using Chrome Version 34.0.1847.131.

Furthermore, upon updating:

And updating gave me the following error:
Update failed ZipArchive::extractTo(/Users/Diederik/Sites/Development/October/modules/backend/ServiceProvider.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied

Which folder should I chmod? Maybe I missed this in the docs.

Hi,
I also have issue with selects on Chrome version - 34.0.1847.137 m.

The selects are looking fine on every other browser.
It is curious, because usually everything works on chrome and the problems usually are with IE.

This is caused by the webfont used, Chrome doesn't like webfonts on <select> controls. Will fix this soon.
