Impacted versions: 14.0

Steps to reproduce:
Two Active companies
My Company (San Francisco) and My Company (Chicago)

Set My Company (Chicago) as default company

Open Equipment which belongs to My Company (San Francisco)
Action --> Maintenance Requests

Current behavior: Default company is My Company (Chicago)

Expected behavior: It should be My Company (San Francisco)

PS: This is working well on this smart button
