I just found the app randomly on the Play Store about 20 minutes ago, it would be great if this app could be published to F-Droid and would allow new and privacy conscious users to use this app. The used BugSnachter dependency is a blocker, as it's proprietary, and non-foss dependencies cannot be included in an F-Droid app. Maybe it could be removed/made optional?

If the requirements of F-Droid cannot be met, an alternative would be to add it to the IzzyOnDroid repo.

@ofalvai if an APK would be available (see #242) I could check if I can integrate it with my repo. And could then tell you how the chances for F-Droid.org stand (disclosure: I'm one of the maintainers there).

So could you, please? After all, you wouldn't want to lock up an open-source app into a walled garden, so whoever wants to use it needs to create accounts with a data collector and seller? 😉

Hey everyone! The release APK is attached to every release from now on (example), so feel free to give it a go, although I have to say that I have no interest in ditching Bugsnag or making the project more complex with multiple build flavors, so full F-Droid packaging is probably not going to happen.

Thanks @ofalvai! Just added it to my repo, should show up here with the next sync in about an hour. Be welcome to pick a badge to link there e.g. from your Readme!

PS: "my repo" is the "IzzyOnDroid" repo mentioned in the opening comment, it's not the official repo of F-Droid. If you want to get your app there, you can find a few hints on how to achieve that with my Quick path to get your app into F-Droid.

Thank you @IzzySoft for the packaging and distribution work, I just added the badge to the README.
I'll leave this issue open for tracking interest in F-Droid distribution.
