Update usage of `ember-cli-version-checker` to allow easier checking of Ember versions between `ember` bower package and `ember-source` npm package.

👍 thanks @rwjblue. I'm gonna go ahead and merge this and release a patch. Test failures are not related to this PR so I'll look into them when I get a chance. |
