OpenstreetMap Android App

The idea at this stage would be to add an OpenStreetmap app (there are dozens, including FOSS ones, listed here and OsmAnd+ is even available on F-droid) to the cardshop dashboard, much like we already have Math Mattews or others.

What I have found so far is that the apk needs to be installed first, and then it will download the map the user demands. But assuming we can include maps on the Hotspot, how do we coerce the app into finding them there?

Cardshop requests are for existing packages. If you're interested in this content but are not sure whether it can be easily done or if it needs a packaging tool, it should probably moved to another repo (overview?)

I don't know. Maybe one of those app allows importing a previously exported file? Please test those app and come back with a proposed solution.
