checkmk_ansible_modules

requirements

1. clone this repository

git clone https://github.com/ogaida/checkmk_ansible_modules

2. Ruby must be installed and the ruby gem ansible_module Version >= 0.9.4 (Tsutomu Kuroda) not released yet and httparty.

$ sudo gem install ./checkmk_ansible_modules/ansible_module-0.9.4.gem httparty

3. link to the modules

/etc/ansible/ansible.cfg

[defaults]
library = /<pathToGitClone_of_checkmk_ansible_modules>/modules

Envvars

you may set some envvars for checkmk connection and call ansible with the -e option:

mycheckenv:

export cmk_user=schneider
epxort cmk_pass=password123
epxort cmk_url=http://172.17.0.1:8080/cmk

load in the active shell:

source mycheckenv

the ansible option then:

-e "user=$cmk_user password=$cmk_pass url=$cmk_url"
