##Quick step-by-step guide 0. Go to comixngn Writer (Preferably a new tab)

  1. The toolbar at the top right corner allows quick access to easy functions
  • The move button allows the toolbar to be moved across the screen, press the button again to stop it from moving.
  • The dropdown toggles between list and thumbnail view.
    • list - displays each page with its image url shown.
    • thumbnail - displays each page with an image thumbnail based on its url.
  • Both setting buttons toggle the display of the setting panel.
  • Both design buttons toggle the display of the display panel.
  • The export button exports the created script.json.
  1. Mouseover an element to learn more about it.
  2. To edit an existing script.JSON, choose the file via the config file option. Warning, this will overwrite any existing pages and settings.
  3. The settings panel provides all the options regarding the configuration of the script.JSON.
  4. Directory refers to the location of all the image assets, whether this is a local file or file from the internet. Leave it blank if you want to use the full url in your pages.
  5. The design panel offers a preview of how your webcomic app will look based on the script.JSON
  6. To add pages/chapters click the + button under the respective title.
  • Press the asterick to edit the options of the page.
  • Press the X to delete the page. Warning: there is no undo option (yet)
  • Pages can be reorganized by simply dragging them around.
  1. To toggle the display of grid lines click the configuration label.
  2. In order to edit the loading spinner, click the loading spinner label.
  3. You can also import pages from images using the choose files button under the page section.
  4. Pages can also be imported from additive.JSON files via the additive merge choose files button. This imports the pages directly rather than linking to an additive file via the additive pages option.
  5. Once done, press the export button. This creates a link to the generated script.JSON named config.JSON. Simply click the link to download it.
