This repository collects the 197 records of manufacturers, a private companies that produces instruments/sensors, equipments, from simple, isolated sensors or parts, to communication systems or even integrated Observatories. This collection is a partly originates from the work of archiving the manufacturers made in Esonet Yellow Pages and partly is derived direclty by the different manufacturers webasites.
The aims of the work is to provide a database of these entities in RDF Friends Of A Friends (FOAF), in order to use them in the EDI (DOI: 10.5334/jors.106) SensorML metadata template.
