JModels contains the database schema in  db/migrations and models in j_models.

Usage :
  1. run migrations on production          - ruby ./script/migration [ENV=env] [VERSION=version]
  2. to require 'j_models' from rails apps -  $: << 'JModel_dir_path'; require 'j_models';

Dependencies

  * For usage 1 & 2
    - git-core
    - mysql-server, mysql, mysql-devel
    - ruby (enterprise edition), rubygems
    - gems : mysql, activerecord

  * For usage 2 only (using remote database)
     - git-core
     - mysql, mysql-devel
     - ruby (enterprise edition), rubygems
     - gems : mysql, activerecord

  
Deploymet
  * Dependecies
    - a machine with ruby, rubygems and capistrano installed. It is generally your developer machine. 
    - repository JDeploy/j_models
  * From inside JDeploy/j_models, You can run the following commands
    - cap deploy:update # deploy the master branch to production
    - cap db:migrate    # run the latest migrations on production
