Funnel does not detect terminated instances on AWS

Hi,
recently i started noticing that funnel keeps reporting sevaral jobs running for hours (or even days) although the instance they are running has been terminated before the job finished.

On the AWS console the task is reported as failed with the status
Host EC2 (instance i-0e234208f6fc9291f) terminated

In the funnel config file:

AWSBatch:
  DisableReconciler: false
  ReconcileRate: 15m

Any advise?
