Ole Begemann, February 2013.
A sample web server, written in Ruby, and an iOS app that I discuss in a detailed tutorial on my blog. Please refer to the blog post for more information.
As far as it was written by myself, the code is licensed under the MIT license.
The server implementation is based on Apple's own reference server implementation for Passbook and therefore contains extensive amounts of Apple sample code that Apple provides under the following license:
Apple grants you a personal, non - exclusive license, under Apple's copyrights in this original Apple software ( the "Apple Software" ), to use, reproduce, modify and redistribute the Apple Software, with or without modifications, in source and / or binary forms; provided that if you redistribute the Apple Software in its entirety and without modifications, you must retain this notice and the following text and disclaimers in all such redistributions of the Apple Software.
The iOS app includes the ZBar SDK for barcode scanning. ZBar is licensed under the LGPL. See ZBar's own Licensing the Library page for details.
