Building from source
The IDE projects (Xcode6 and VS2010) are set up to be built with maxbuild. If you want to compile it you should first checkout maxbuild and then checkout ol.wsserver into the examples folder or a new folder at the same level.
The following commands should get you set up:
git clone --recursive https://github.com/olilarkin/maxbuild.git cd maxbuild/examples git clone --recursive https://github.com/olilarkin/wsserver.git
If you're on a local network that is blocking traffic on port 8080 you can redirect traffic from port 80 with this ipfw command in terminal (OSX)
/sbin/ipfw add 1000 fwd 127.0.0.1,8080 tcp from any to me 80
