Hello I made an account just to share this issue, so If I've done anything wrong regarding to this or if this has already been fixed then please let me know. I'm not tech savvy so please forgive me.

For context I use windows 7 professional and I put the manuskript in my external hardrive. I've been using version 0.11 for a while now and have been wanting to try the newest version since it has gotten released.

Another things is that I use the built in "classic theme" on windows 7 and manuskript version 0.11 still works in that theme and with "aero".

This is regarding both the "manuskript-0.12.0-win32" and "manuskript-0.12.0-fix-7e05b72-win32" executable files.

Whenever I attempt to open the executable in "manuskript-0.12.0-fix-7e05b72-win32" it shows this:

manuskript 012 error 1
The same thing shows for when I open the executable for the non-fixed version "manuskript-0.12.0-win32":

manuskript 012 error 2

After I click ok the terminal that launches the program freezes:
manuskript 012 error 3

Is there anyway to fix this issue at all? Is this a compatibility issue?
Honestly I just want closure to this.

And again I apologize if there's an issue with how I wrote this and I hope I gave you enough information about this.

If anyone responds or helps me with this then I thank you deeply for it.

What you could test, is deleting "ucrtbase.dll" from the directory you extracted the files from manuskript into (where the manuskript.exe file is located). This seemed to fix this issue on Windows 8 (issue #911) but it could not be confirmed yet it fixes the problem with Windows 7.

But there were also some other people having issues with Windows 7 and version 0.12.0 shortly after launch (issue #872). So maybe there's still another issue.

That seems to have worked with the "manuskript-0.12.0-fix-7e05b72-win32" version!
Thank you.
I'll let you know if there's anymore issues!
