II.6.a. Favicon, banners, 404 page images, country flags

Favicon

Place files named favicon.ico and favicon_newmessage.ico into the public directory.

favicon_newmessage.ico is used for blinking on new messages (the script changes favicon.ico and favicon_newmessage.ico twice a second).

Board banners

Place your banner images in the corresponding subdirectories of public/img/banners.

Examples: public/img/banners/b/1.jpg, public/img/banners/b/2.gif, public/img/banners/h/banner.png.

Note: It is a good tradition to keep banner dimensions 300x100. It is not required, but is recommended.

404 page images

Place your custom 404 images in the public/img/404 directory.

Examples: public/img/404/1.jpg, public/img/404/2.gif, public/img/404/not_found.png.

Country flags

You may replace images in the public/img/flags directory, or add some.

Examples: public/img/flags/RU.png, public/img/flags/GB.png, public/img/flags/default.png.
