Just noticed it is documented... Well, I guess if this is the case it just means that there are few users who use this feature. |

I was wondering why OpTeX don't use the luahbtex compiler as its engine. This engine has HarfBuzz, a text shaping engine, integrated inside it (similar to XeTeX). It can be useful in some cases when LuaTeX's default renderer isn't giving the correct output (it can happen with complex scripts such as arabic, indic, or in some cases, hebrew as well).
I don't know if there are any deficiencies to this engine. He is being maintained alongside LuaTeX (his version is 1.17 as well), by the same team. Might be worth checking it out.
I know I can make a format for luahbtex on my local machine, and I do that... I thought it might be useful for others.
