🎯 How To Use

Example Syntax

const { formatCurrency, formatDate } = require('data-formatting-helpers');

// Format currency
const price = 1500.75;
const formattedPrice = formatCurrency(price, 'USD');
console.log(formattedPrice); // Output: $1,500.75

// Format date
const date = new Date('2024-03-07');
const formattedDate = formatDate(date, 'yyyy-MM-dd');
console.log(formattedDate); // Output: 2024-03-07

Explanation

• formatCurrency(number, currency): Formats a number into currency format based on the provided currency code.
• formatDate(date, format): Formats a date object into the specified format.

Return Value

• formatCurrency: Returns a formatted currency string.
• formatDate: Returns a formatted date string.
