MUCOM88 is a music creation tool in MML format for the NEC PC-8801 platform and a program (driver) environment for playback, originally developed and announced by Yuzo Ancient in 1987. OPEN MUCOM88 project aims to use and inherit the original MUCOM88 source code widely by releasing it. Source code and assets that are released free of charge can be freely used under an open license.
The disk image of the original PC-8801 version of MUCOM88 has been published in the site of Ancient Corp. In addition, MUCOM88 Windows, which runs on Windows, has been developed.
The purpose of this WiKi is to collect information about OPEN MUCOM88 and to expand its use. If you have a github account, anyone can fork and add or modify it, so please join us. The feedback we receive will be reflected on this page and in our documentation.
