Will it be possible in the near future, that the Cordova plugins supports calling more than one person to establish a conference? Or is this just possible by using a server-side conference?

This might be possible. I know that that the PhoneRTC project is working on doing audio conferencing. If you would like to port these changes to our project that would be awesome. At this point in time we have no plans to port these changes.
