Feature: Allow users to pin a highlight to their profile

Current behavior

There's a chronological list of highlights on the profile.

Suggested solution

It would be nice to have the ability to pin at least one highlight to the top of the profile feed and indicate that it's been "pinned."

I think Dev lets you pin up to five. It gives the user the ability for more customization and may be more useful when the highlight feed includes a lot of different PRs.

I like this idea too @BekahHW! :) It could be a great way for career transitioners to refer to specific contributions that best exemplify their skill.

Exactly @a0m0rajab! :) It could also have metrics(e.g., how many users it helped).

This was already considered in the API; I don't know if we have a design.

We would need to add this in open-sauced/api first. My pitch would be pinning one highlight to start.

As far as design nothing yet, but open to anyone's take on it.

We aren't able to prioritize this at the moment.

I'd suggest one pinned highlight to begin as well. This is what we did at DEV to get the feature out the door. As soon as you have more than one, you need a page to manage pinned items which is doable, but more work. I'd do multiple pinned items in future (but also see if there is a demand for it).
