Are these replaces needed anymore? Now that we're using multimod to manage versions in require statements we might be able to omit these. Perhaps something to try after this release is shipped.

I think we should do the remove in a separate PR. Only problem is that if we ever want a release on a untagged version they will be needed

Created an issue #29... wow that "reference in new issue" feature is a timesaver!
