Trouble running featureflag service on m1 mac #696

I'm following the instructions to run locally with docker and running into some issues with the feature flag service:

Initially ran docker compose up --no-build. All images are pulled from ghcr. The feature flag service failed with errors that look like the following, which I assumed were caused by the images not being published with arm64 support:

qemu: uncaught target signal 11 (Segmentation fault) - core dumped
Segmentation fault
Database setup or migrations failed.

Segmentation fault

Next I tried to build featureflagservice myself with docker compose build featureflagservice, followed by docker compose run featureflagservice. Unfortunately this fails with a different error. Its some sort of crash dump that I'm having trouble interpreting due to lack of familiarity with erlang. I've attached the full output to this issue: crash.txt

Am I missing something obvious? Feels like I can't be the first person to run this on an m1, so presumably I'm missing something or there's something different about my environment. Any help from erlang folks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
