Creating a Release Request causes an email to be sent with an empty subject #7904
Comments
It seems Revoking a release request also has a similar issue. |
Are we talking about a specifc request? |
Check for the existence of a project instead of throwing an exception. Adapt the cassettes accordingly. Fixes openSUSE#7904.
@simotek ping |
It seems to be all requests of a specific type, such as when a release request is created as per https://build.suse.de/request/show/206242 or when one is revoked or accepted. They likely only go out to people in the maintenance within SUSE although some but not all are going to @coolo's work address |
I have no email about 206242 but e.g. about 205473 being declined or 203917 being accepted. Neither have an empty subject - they actually have immense subjects. |
See #1895 - perhaps your mailer just ignores those monsters? |
This is a possibility, both thunderbird and O365 consider it as having no subject, including thunderbirds "View Source" option, so equally maybe a mail server is dropping them somewhere in the process |
As per the title, creating Release Requests from maintenance incidents generates an email with no subject line, this is annoying because it makes it harder to filter.
