Currently it is possible to create networks and sub-networks by specifying them in VLD, but the creation options are limited.

For example OpenStack supports this additional options for sub-net creation:

  • enable_dhcp
  • allocation_pools
  • gateway_ip
  • dns_nameservers
  • ...

There are also additional options for network creation that can be taken into consideration.

This will be addressed in the next release since we are going to improve the networking significantly.
