Here is one instance where BMC is rebooting continuously while updating BMC using latest master build #1241.

Here is how we hit the issue.

  1. Latest BMC master image Unable to open IPMI session: no free sessions left #1241 was uploaded and activated.
  2. Later BMC reboot was performed as part of code update process to boot to activated side. Here we started seeing BMC reboot continuously happening.

Attached are the serial console logs from the failed system.

This is fixed recently. I have recovered the system. re-open if u see again.
