possible to disable buttons until a script is killed?

I'm making a script that allows me to change camviews when in camview mode.
But as my script works, the touches are also registered in the crankshaft Open Auto environment.

Is there a way to disable something in crankshaft temporarily so it doesnt do anything on touch while my script is running?

Weird I edited #391 but somehow it was submitted as a new one.
So you could close #391
