Urgent - Cannot add items to cart in latest iPhone 6 - Safari - iOS 8.1.1 - OpenCart 2.0

Hi there,

Our customers reported that they cannot add items to cart in their iPhone 6. They could before (*note that iOS just released iOS 8.1.1 2 weeks ago). We tested and see the same error:

(As seen in the video above, the bug also appears on http://demo.opencart.com. We added an item to cart but the top black button says 1 item in cart but as soon as we click that black button, the expanded pop-up says "Your shopping cart is empty").

Please help us fix ASAP since the bug is real, and this is affecting ALL iPhone 6 users (some reported this problem on iPad as well) with the latest iOS 8.1.1 (FYI, we have a partner who uses OpenCart 2.0 also has this CRITICAL issue and this killed their Black Friday sales badly).
