OpenCart v1.5.4

OpenCart Administration > Sales > Returns > View "item"

Despite unticking "Notify Customer", The customer can login to his account and see the Return History with comments

I'm pretty sure that setting is about email notifications

Nothing to do with email notification.
See below screenshot on what I meant:

Reopen case (pressed the wrong button on last post and accidentally close the case)

Solved in OC 2.0 \upload\catalog\model\account\return.php
Added a
AND rh.notify = '1'
in
public function getReturnHistories($return_id) {}
