Move hosted accounts to a separate section #5457

Big +1 to this - our profile pages are not optimised for host profiles, in terms of the information hosts want to convey, and this would be a step in the right direction. |
A user got confused by this and disabled "Contributions" because they figured hosted collectives were displayed in the "Connected collectives" section. |
I'm sorry but I don't know what is the difference between hosted collectives and connected collectives? 🙈 |
We had a look at this project today, and it makes sense for us to tackle this when we move forward with the profile page revamp project. There are still a couple of unresolved issues around the Collective page, but it seems that a holistic approach would be better for this case. We will bring it up for the next sprints. |

+1 to this I've come across how a couple other fiscal sponsors do this on their websites- usually its something at the bottom saying "Hosted Projects" or "Groups We Support" with photos + links +blog post articles to each of those projects. When this moves forward, I would be happy to provide feedback. Feel free to ping me along the way. |
This should take into consideration #5278 for transparency |
On the host pages, it feels strange to me to have hosted collectives listed in "Contributions". It also currently creates an issue where hosts can hide their hosted collectives.
The fact that, for fiscal hosts, we pre-select the "Hosted Collectives" filter by default is - in my opinion - an indicator that this part should live in its own space that can't be hidden.
@opencollective/design I'll let you decide whether this is something we may want to consider or if you prefer to stand with the existing design (feel free to close this issue in that case).
