In our former data model, only large conventional power plants > 50MW were able to dispatch reactive power for voltage stability (control = 'PV'), all renewable and smaller conventional power plants had control = 'PQ'.

But technical requirements for all power plants have changed in the last years. According to 'Technische Anschlussbedingungen Mittelspannung, Westnetz, 2019' all power plants with an installed capacity > 475kW(p) have to be able to dispatch reactive power for voltage stability.

So I would like to update our assumption for control strategies.
I suggest to set control = 'PV' for all wind parks, conventional generators, pumped hydro storage units and solar ground mounted because the are most likely > 475kW(p). Assuming that most pv rooftop plants are smaller than 475kWp, I would set control = 'PQ' for all solar rooftop plants.

Important point! I'll discuss this with @birgits in January and get back to you...
