What

  • It seems the value of this parameter is defined whether the main language has any ingredients set.
  • This is not always good reasoning. There can be products where the main language, as defined by the language of the product name, does not have ingredients.
  • Example: https://world.openfoodfacts.org/product/1201509270003/sockerfria-kakor-havre-ikea
  • Can be solved by setting the ingredients to: "no ingredients specified in this language" and/or setting the image to "not present on package".
