Parsing when ingredients are in brackets. Ex: "cacahuètes avec peau (arrachides)"

From an email from a contributor :

"On the food "peanuts" bar code 3250391545025, the list of ingredients refers to "cacahuètes avec peau (arrachides)".
The algorithm seems to detect on one side "cacahuètes avec peau" and on the other side "arrachides" which is in brackets
This counts as 2 ingredients instead of 1 for regulatory purposes, so there is a problem. Arrachides is more official than "cacahuètes avec peau" but the information would not be exactly the same as on the label.
