Smoothie - Image uploading seems broken

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Product page
2. Click on "Add new Image"
3. Navigate away from the product page
4. The image wasn't added and isn't in the product.

Is there some automated ML based filtering happening in the backend that prevents a faulty image or is it a bug?

Adding "More interesting photos" doesn't update the image in the carousel.

And to the "More interesting photos" @jasmeet0817, when I understood it correctly this is a section of a product which isn't shown on product pages, only for power users to be able to make better edits or alike but not intended for nomal users, so the image shouldn't be shown there either way. Am I right @stephanegigandet ?
