What we should change and why (this is tech debt)

#9807 introduces a stimulusJs implementation of dirtyForm plugin but it's not compatible with the text-angular directives inside the about and shop preferences tab. To get around this, there's a temporary solution that has been implemented in d191a02 which needs to be removed.
