I have this issue on a variety of hardware with and without vsync.

@ofTheo - you mentioned you don't get issues
are you using Quicktime codec? perhaps quicktime plays back quicktime fine, but other codecs not?

GStreamer for VS2010 should be a non-issue. i've got it working here (on a non-oF project)

Just wondering, GStreamer does support hardware accelerated decoding, but as I understand it, it is not implemented in of. Right ? on windows and linux I have something lik 90% CPU for HD video playback. It makes nearly impossible to play two videos at the same time.

closing this as he never answered if this was fixed in the forum thread.
either way we should move to DirectShow or Gstreamer for Windows. If we go with DirectShow it will be crazy fast.
