Exciting news! After years of waiting, Google Colab finally supports custom widgets (e.g., ipyleaflet). That means now you can enjoy the full interactive functionality of leafmap on Colab. Improvement to leafmap is coming soon.

This feature has been partially implemented. Please note that Colab does not yet fully support ipyleaflet. Some advanced ipyleaflet and ipywidgets are not yet supported by Colab. The leafmap toolbar looks super big in Colab. No easy fix for now.
