Tested it and it works pretty good. It has become my favorite way of fixing errors in OSM (opening_hours). Usage is documented in the README.

Is it possible to translate the readme (or only the script-part) to german?
I have no Plan how to use it.
Additional (maybe new Bug): Best way would be to add the function to the Qat-script: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/DE:Quality_Assurance_Tools_script

Documentation can always be improved. I guess I should write some good German documentation after the English one is quite comprehensive by now.

qat-script 0.6 is out ... without opening_validator. will you take another look on it? ;)

Thanks for the little kickoff. I always support people who want to fix and improve opening_hours ;) Adding support for this should not be to complected because I have already created a Python binding for opening_hours.js.
