The tutorial refers to variables like $PATH_TO_FX or %PATH_TO_FX that should be resolved by the user, as the IDE won't recognize the literal.
$PATH_TO_FX
%PATH_TO_FX
So it should be said explicitly when the variable has to be resolved or not.
Alternatively it can be explained how to set an environment variable for each IDE.
